From the hull details, this appears to be the Excelsior from its NX Prototype days. With that in mind, what if this was an Excelsior from a parallel universe that our Excelsior encountered during some weird adventure? It would certainly fit, since the one we know was fully commissioned (NCC registry and new hull details included) and lasted at least until 2308. It might make for a compelling story, at least. 🖖😎👍
